Our Story
Let's make a stand mixer that's truly different.
Kraftsman, originally known as Kitchenin, began with an idea: “Let's make a stand mixer that's truly
different.”
This idea came from three industry insiders—a designer, an engineer, and a product manager—who had long been
immersed in the kitchen appliance world. They had worked with top brands, watched stand mixers evolve, and
eventually asked themselves:
Why are we following others' rules, when we are meant to be challenging the industry's limits?
What Inspired Us: Bugatti W16 Engine
In 2005, Bugatti published its first technical details of the engine for the Veyron 16.4, and changed the
world.
This engine was designed and built with few references and resources. The team had to make their own tools,
just to meet the unprecedented standards of what would power the world's first hyper sports car.
This story lit a fire in us. Bugatti's success deeply improved our true belief:
Industry standards aren't walls, they are milestones waiting to be surpassed.
Sleek. Sturdy. Strong. Quiet.
At first, we launched our first product: the KM50 stand mixer, under the brand name Kitchenin.
Within a few months, we sold over thousands of units. Reviews flooded in: Sleek. Sturdy. Strong. Quiet.
Just as we were gaining momentum, a trademark dispute hit us. We paused the operation.
Rounds of Upgrades
But we went silent doesn't mean we went off. In those years, we gathered customer feedback and improved the product.
We widened the frame for extra stability. We built a dedicated production line, ensuring every part of our products is uncontaminated.
